FORMULATOR Software Upgrade Released

Major changes and improvements to FORMULATOR REGULATOR

This latest upgrade to FORMULATOR includes over 100 improvements including the OH to NCO poloyol to isocyante calculations for Urethane Coatings, Dependent Catalyst calculations, improved data logging to recall multiple formula development changes, loss of materials by line item with variable batch yield functions. A new raw materials specification section has been added with test results logging.

ColorTec now offers FORMULATOR with multiple data base options including Microsoft ACCESS, My SQL and Microsoft SQL. The new version will operate in Microsoft Server networks, Novell and Linux networks. Integration with ERP manufacturing software is available for multiple databases including Microsoft SQL, Pervasive SQL, Oracle, DBII. Version 3.2.4 has specific Integration success with BatchMasterPFW from BEST Software.

 The next scheduled FORMULATOR upgrade is planned for the summer of 2004 which is adding multi-lingual MSDS functions to REGULATOR; adding container labeling with hazardous statement output; adding multiple test results functions to the QC testing section of FORMULATOR; adding packaging and overhead cost to product cost analysis.
