Formulator Software Launches New Software Tools for Cosmetic Chemists

Formulator Software LLC, Inc. announced the release of a new version of FORMULATORÔ specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Cosmetic Chemist and Drug OTC Formulator. This dynamic package provides all of the latest graphics tools and calculation power of the Windows environment to aid the Cosmetic Chemist's rapid development of new formulations as well as modification and improvement of old formulations.

The new Cosmetics version of FORMULATOR adds Quantity Sufficient weight % formulation and % only formulation logic to the standard weight-volume formulation tools in the basic FORMULATOR product. This new version also adds the capabilities to develop product label logic; fetches and displays stored product information and ingredients with and without the % amount with the ability to author warning and usage statements. 

Freed from transaction limitations of most other packages, FORMULATOR™ allows complete cut and paste tools from multiple formulas at multiple levels with full calculation of performance properties, cost calculations and variable weights and measure as the formula is created.

The software program is available on CD or can be downloaded from the web site to be tested live at no charge by qualified Cosmetic Chemists and Drug OTC Formulators. The test software is supplied with realistic cosmetic test formulas. The Cosmetic Version also can be enhanced with the Quality Manager module for expanded Quality Control test control and the  REGULATOR module for MSDS development and output (which now includes the ability to use materials INCI names as well as Trade Names). FORMULATOR complies with 21 CFR 11 FDA electronic record requirements.
