FORMULATOR Announces Sample Manager

FORMULATOR Software Sample Manager Expands Lab-Book Technology

Clinton, NJ (May 2010) – Jim DeGroff, Managing Partner of FORMULATOR Software LLC, announced the development of FORMULATOR Sample Manager as part of their NYSCC Cosmetics Supplier’s Day 2010 presentation.
Sample Management of new products, specialty product development and custom formulations is the missing gap between the Sales Force and the Cosmetic Formulation Chemist. It is a key requirement for Contract Manufacturers, Fragrance, Colorants, Flavors and other raw materials vendors and new product offerings.

Sample Manager provides sample tracking, quoting, and reporting for customer and new prospect samples.  The sample tracking FIND window manages reporting via column presets and filtering/sorting.  A Configurator is supplied which allows the User to design the functions to meet their procedures and customer requirements. Links are provided to Project Manager, Formulas, BOMs, Inventory and Production history and lot tracing.  Custom links to Sales Contact Management software are planned.

The enhanced Formulator program with Sample Manager is part of the new FORMULATOR 5.3 release. FORMULATOR provides the speed and collaborative functions of a network Windows program while meeting all of the requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance.  The benefits of speedy and accurate formulation offers cost savings and competitive advantages to Cosmetic and Materials Manufacturers.
