Jim’s presentation reviewed Cosmetic Product Cost Analysis and Control during development and production of cosmetic and other Health and Beauty products. As part of the presentation Jim announced the addition of Multi-Vendor Costing features to the Advanced Costing Analysis module of FORMULATOR Software. Not only does this feature allow users to add multiple costs per raw material, but users may also assign these costs to vendors and enter additional freight costs. Costs can be entered and compared in various units of measure. When entering or viewing a formula, users may list the raw material costs from various vendors to fully evaluate the costs variance between vendors. This powerful functionality also works when entering or viewing SKUs.
As an added convenience, users may also specify links to documents for any vendor raw material cost. These links may be on the user’s workstation, network or internet. Imagine being able to access vendor quotes, price lists or other relevant cost information with a simple click!
