ePad™ Signature Pad Installation


The Interlink ePad plugs into any USB port on your computer. The drivers required are included with the ePad  and are activated by the FORMULATOR license file.  

Follow these instructions to install the Interlink ePad:

ePad drivers and the IntegriSign Desktop software must both be installed on any PC that is signing documents or accessing signatures.  Without the ePad drivers installed, if ePad is required (via the Company Set-Up module) then FORMULATOR will prevent the user from performing the action in question.  In some cases this may be desirable, in order to limit certain actions to specific workstations.

To install the ePad drivers on your PC, insert the ePad driver disk into your CD ROM drive.If the installation does not begin automatically, locate and run the file named “autorun.exe” on the CD ROM.

Installation consists of two parts. The drivers must be installed, followed by the Integrisign Desktop.   The installation menu is shown here:

 

First click on “Install ePadDrivers (Required First)

Click Next.

 

Enter User & Company Name and Click Next.


Click Next.

 


Click Next.


Click Next.


DO NOT install WinTab emulation. Click Next.


Click Next.


Click Finish.



Next, install the IntegriSign Desktop software:

Click Next.


Read the License Agreement &Click Yes.


Enter User & Company Name and Click Next.


Select The IntegriSign Core Plugin and Click Next.


Click Next.

 


Click Next.


Connect the ePad Signature Pad to your USB port and Click Finish.

After re-starting your system, you will be able to retrieve and view signatures embedded in FORMULATOR documents. If an ePad is attached to your PC, you will also be able to perform the functions selected in the ePad tab of Company Set-Up.  See your FORMULATOR documentation for more details.

Once installed selection of signature approval areas is done in the Company Setup options epad tab.
