Crystal Reports - System hangs after Print or Export to pdf, .xls, etc.

If Crystal Reports export to PDF/Excel/etc. are crashing the system, do the following:

 

1. Open Windows Explorer. Locate the installation drive (C:, for this example).  Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin
2. Locate the following files:
   1. u2dmapi.dll
   2. u2dnotes.dll
   3. u2dpost.dll
   4. u2dvim.dll
3. Rename these files to something completely different.
4. Create 4 new empty files with these files names in the exact same location as the old files.  The new files MUST BE BLANK FILES.  They MUST HAVE NOTHING IN THEM.
