The units of measure in Formulator are all based on one of the following:

·        G (gram)

·        Cc

·        Per 100 weight

·        Percent weight

·        Quantity Sufficient

Any unit that is added to the system must be relative to one of the above units.  Most companies only use g, cc and percent weight.

·        When entering a weight based unit use “g” as the basis

·        When entering a volume based unit use “cc” as the basis

·        Only one unit can be set up for Percent weight (example: Lbs).  This is the unit that will be selected when switching between a percent formula and a “natural unit” formula

Example, if a user added Lbs, the Basis would be g (gram) and the conversion factor would be 453.5924.
